Conference Location |

Harrah's Hotel/Casino is beautifully set in the Sierra Nevada mountains amidst towering pines and the south shore of the world's most beautiful alpine lake. William Fisk Harrah opened Harrah's Lake Tahoe on the south shore in 1955, and today major travel industry organizations consistently rate the hotel/casino among the finest in the world. Harrah's deluxe rooms are as lavish as the landscape that surrounds them. Every room comes complete with two baths, each with its own television and telephone. This makes the hotel ideal for shared accomodations. The hotel is equipped with men's and women's health spa, glass-domed swimming pool, and full service barber and beauty shops. For more information about Harrah's Tahoe, please visit their web site at www.harrahstahoe.com. You will need to reserve your room directly at Harrah's using the FAX form (Click here for Hotel Reservation Form) or phone registration (1-800-455-4770, group code CNRES). We also have a special secure web link with Harrah's for our conference if you desire to reserve your room on-line. (Click here to link to Harrah's On-line Reservstion Form) Our special convention room rate of $90.00 (single or double occupancy) begins Sunday, May 14 for those that wish to arrive early. This conference rate extends through Thursday night, May 18. For those who wish to extend their stay, we have a reduced weekend rate of $129.00 (single or double) available for the nights of May 19 and 20. Anyone wanting to share the double room rate will need to find their own roommate. back to top |

back to top There are five different half-day bus tours available in the Lake Tahoe Area on the afternoon of May 17. Your registration fee covers the cost of the tours and a box lunch. Spouses and children are very welcome at Tahoe. Spouses will pay $60.00 registration fee to cover all conference events with the exception of the field tours. Some of the suggested activities at Tahoe in the spring are: bicycling, hiking, fishing, river rafting, parasailing, jet skiing, golf, horseback riding, hiking, hot air balloon rides, water skiing, and paddlewheel boat cruises to name a few. Weather permitting, there may still be outstanding snow skiing available in May http://www.skitahoe.com. While there are plenty of leisure activities at Tahoe, spouses are invited to meet in the hospitality area on the conference level to get additional information on recreational activities at Tahoe. Harrah's has a Family Fun Center for hours of fun and entertainment for kids of any age! From the casino, just take the escalators or elevators to the lower level. The kids will love the new indoor playground. The Family Fun Center is a safe, well lit, non-smoking and alcohol-free environment. |
