Blodgett Blodgett Forest Research StationBlodgett Forest 4400 acres, situated on the Georgetown Divide, consists of high site mixed conifer forest, oak forest, and brushland Gradients on the gently rolling topography average less than 30 percent. Three major creeks flow through the Forest. Over 400 species of plants on the property provide habitat for 150 species of animals.
Whitaker Whitaker Forest Research Station320 acres located on Redwood Mountain, Whitaker’s Forest is adjacent to Kings Canyon National Park. It lies on gentle to steep slopes in the giant sequoia/mixed conifer forest. Over 215 large giant sequoia trees occur on the property, along with fine stands of second-growth redwood. Mixed conifer forests of both mature and second-growth trees predominate on the west side of the forest and are interspersed with giant sequoia elsewhere.
Baker Baker Forest and UC Forestry CampLocated in the middle of Plumas National Forest, the U. C. Forestry Camp and Baker Forest provide a unique opportunity to study the biota, soils, and geology of the Feather River Country. The properties comprise 120 acres of mixed conifer forestland with a northern exposure.
Russell Russell Research Station283 acres located adjacent to Briones Regional Park in the coastal hills of Contra Costa County, just 15 miles from the UCB campus..
